Great shot but out of curiosity, why the tools - can't it be done 'conventionally'? (this isn't a dig , just wondering - I realise it's abroad.)

fair question. one that all of the guys that developed the crag and everyone who has seen the cave for last 10,000 years has asked.
the rock is generally very smooth and featureless even the extensive vertical faces outside the cave (no dry tooling allowed) have few routes.
This photo is of one of the warm up routes on the edge of the cave, see the topo in my gallery for a better overall view of the place. The routes Jeff, Jon, Etienne, Gaetan and Benjamin, to name a few, are putting up down there are cutting edge, believe me.
Last year Jeff went to the Cineplex in Canada and did Musashi M12, The Game M13 and Steel Koan M13?. In a DAY!!!
