Gosh, I've never seen that picture before! It is indeed myself. Not (forgive pun) sure it's Knott, though. Isn't that in more of a recess? I see from my log book that the only day I visited BH in Sept 75 I did (amongst other things) Knott, Centurion's Groove, Pseudonym and Broken Nose. I think it's most likely Pseudonym, just right of Centurion's Groove.

BTW, did we ever converse, or climb together on SE Sandstone? Were you one of the regulars in the mid-70s??

I thought you'd worked this out ages ago! You should be able to work out from the pics and our different views on Mrs.T!!! I have quite a few other pics but it's very time consuming uploading them.

No, I haven't worked out which of the sandstone regulars you were that I knew, or even if you were one of the s r that I knew. Or even if you were one of the s r, or only visited very occasionally. I did know Richard Gatehouse (in your Fandango picture), and climbed with him a few times in the Peak District. Others who climbed in/with our group at aournd that time, according to my logbook, were Pete Hutcheson, Paul Chambers, Dave Yates, Dave Clapham, Neil ?, and a young guy called Nick. Just conceivable that you are the latter, or perhaps Dave Clapham?? The others I think were older than you.
Rather ironic that here is a picture of a climb called Pseudonym taken by someone who now prefers to hide behind a pseudonym :)

Thanks for ringing me, 'Pat', and putting me straight! I was extremely dim in not recognising you.

Ha ha, subterfuge.
