Very windy day in the usual places, this was sheltered spot on the the Eastern flank of the Gap.

I walked through ther one April and it was like a wind tunnel!

It was that spell of strong Southerly winds, which I presume is quite unusual for the Cairngorms, so the gap was a little haven of tranquillity. Yes, Jamie I did advise him at the time but he was too busy going for the Patagonia-front-cover shot.
