Hello Ice Nine - super shot. However, the tent seems to be pitched below an overhanging ice bulge and I certainly would not be happy sleeping in it. Please enlighten me on the logistics of putting the tent there.

Hi Boje, thanks for the comments. Camp 2.9 is used more commonly now rather than camp 3 due to an avalanche/serac fall in 2006 that killed 6 people. The site of 2.9 is relatively safe from anything falling from above (unless the ice that it is hacked into decides to move). I didn't stay here, I went directly from Camp 2 to the summit.
