Hello Jon,
Another "aquaintance" - I remember meeting Martin in Chamonix ('72), Yosemite ('77) and Plas-y-Brenin in 1984. In Yosemite he was with Aido, they had done their bit and really wanted to move on but had no transport. Hazel and I were touring and stayed at the Awani because that was the only choice, and I think we paid $50 including breakfast.! Next day we all crammed into my car, a classic 1969 Ford Mustang and I dropped them in Lake Tahoe. Where are they now ?
Regards,
Boje

I remember getting a lift from Glenmore Lodge down to Derbyshire with Marty, Aido and Allen Fyffe, in Marty's car. Aido and I were sitting in the back. At the time we both had long white hair. Fyffey, from the front seat remarked that anyone following us would see the two old white heads in the back and think it was a pensioners outing. Aido and I just stared at Fyffey's completely bald and shiny pate and burst out laughing! The last thing I heard about Aido was that his body was also giving up on him and that he'd left The Lodge and had built a house - which he sold and started another...
