Correct me if I'm wrong on the mountain....

You're absolutely right, these are the north eastern-most peaks of the Aiguilles Rouges. Left of middle are the Aiguilles de l'Encrenaz and Persévérance and to the right is the Aiguille de Mesure, which now hosts many fine rock routes. In the middle-ground are the limestone cliffs of the Rochers des Fiz and right at the back, the Aravis.
