That's fantastic, Jamie! How long did you stand there?

I spent over an hour wandering around Dave - checking out different views, eating and trying to stay warm. It was very special watching colour slowly flood the scene. I'd checked out the best viewpoints a couple of years ago, so knew roughly where I wanted to be. My aim is to produce a large-scale painting, but include the lochain and the sun on the horizon (maybe).

Superb Jamie; was it Sunday out of interest? How are you going to get those tones into paint? You're the man that can I'm sure. M

Yes it was Sunday. I couldn't see Skye - was it engulfed?! Do you know, I've been thinking about these colours and am tempted to try using some flourescent paints to get the surreal glowing brightness. Might work, might not.

Fantastic. Must have been flipping cold, but worth it!
