Hi Brian. I bumped into Trevor on Cloggy one day when he was climbing with Hugh Banner. They were following me and Frank Millward up November/Jelly Roll (I think it was that). All they did was brag about how old they were! And now here I am, older than either of them were at the time - frightening, isn't it? Hope you are well...

Just noticed this one Brian and would like to comment on how Trevor changed the shape of things to come in the climbing world. My best friend Mo Anthoine was dossing in the Pass in 1959, so unsure of his future that he signed up for a nine year stint in the marines. He met Trevor on a belay on Great Slab on Cloggy and he offered Mo a job at the newly formed Ogwen Cottage as handyman for one pound a week - the rest, as they say, is history !
