Is there another member of the team (other than you, of course) above the upper climber? There seems to be a rope... or is it a mark on the photo? Looks quite a formidable bit of climbing for 1972!

Hi Jon - You are right. I'd never noticed that. Caption corrected.
It's not as tough as it looks as I recall. Probably around mild VS. The little bit of aid, if freed (which I think it has been), would be considerably harder- probably about 5b
