Had some beta, but flashed the route leading it very easily, The starting 2 moves give this its grade in my opinion. lovely climb, loads of gear, good rests, nothing to be scared of!

you bring back memories - one of the first crags we climbed at as kids of about 16-17 back in around 1981! We used to top rope a fair bit and defo on Mangler!...cheers

Anytime Cornish! Great little crag is Causey, tucked amongst the trees with more than enough routes of varying difficulty. Best lead of mine for a long time that! If you're ever over there give us a shout . . .

Haha the typical quagmire at the bottom of the Mangler, heading there tues but more for the pint afterwards in the stables. Careful when your at causey cause a while ago some climbers got their gear knicked by passers by when they were walking off the side of the crag

Yep, it was like the everglades that day! My DMM rope bag hasn't been the same since! I'd heard about the fellas gear going walkies David but thanks for the heads up! Climbers are a close knit bunch arent they for passing info on, and without a doubt, that was a little opportunist idiot stealing a mans rack. No climber would break that code ay!
