The buckstone dyno, easier for the tall (to do 6 times for the photo!)

whoa! i thought maybe time lapse wouild give the same effect?

A long exposure would simply blur the climber throughout the movement, here I used a flash network set to strobe at about 6 Hz, I think.

Fecking cool. I love it.

Funky! Always wondered how that would turn out. Must give that a go with strobe function on my flash (once I've figured out how to use it!)

How do you make it look like that of 6 photos. What software do you use?
imfromwales - 29/Jul/05
(relatively) logn exposure, flash fires 6 times while shutter is open, therefore no extra software tricks needed. I presume.

Correct Mr Read. Not sure about the exposure length, but this was a flash network set to strobe through a long(ish) exposure. The comment to do it 6 times was more meant as thanks and respect for Chris who did it 6 times on the trot whilst I got the camera settings right! It looks to me more like the flash fired 4 times.
