Can anyone identify this route? The red mark indicates as good as I can estimate the highest point we reached.

I spent a few winters up and around this valley in the early 90's so back then we'd just look for interesting routes and see where we got with them, this was by far the most serious.

I seem to remember that there was about 6 or 7 pitches to high point marked in red, I led a couple of maybe grade 2/3 at the start, and Ian Roberts of Capel Curig, taking the next 3 or maybe 4 with it steepening up to around 85 or 90 degree for one pitch, where we reached a small overhanging cave. Robbo found a way to the left out of the cave and the ground eased off. We then moved up 1 or 2 pitches of grade 2/3 and found a way off the route to the left as it was getting dark and we abbed back down from trees, probably 8 to 9 hours road to road. We climbed as a three with Robbo been in charge, and Jim O Kane of Pembroke, south Wales making up the trio.
