Is it a Hobbema, a Monet, a Constable?
© Sean Kelly, May 2014
...not in database
Camera used: Nikon D300. 12-24mm.
As I glanced back behind the way I had come, I saw my picture. It was a Hobbemma, a Monet, a Constable. I then realized what it was that they had captured in their paintings. That quality of light & colour on seen in Spring. That fleeting interplay of light and how it changes that colour and form. The light became translucent as the sun appeared from behind clouds unseen. This small image which has been acutely compressed because of the posting restrictions, does little justice to the true detail and subtlety present within the original image. Strange that I wallowed through deep mud for over a mile, after a week of constant rain, to encounter this wonderful vision.
