Thanks for all the comments.I got caught in the gales and the rain before I made it back to the car after taking the shot, I disappeared into a bog aswell which wasnt the best for my gear but worth it, i think!(the gear survived)I havent printed it yet, I had the negative scanned.I used a yellow filter during exposure, if that helps.thanks.

Stunning. I love the sense of drama. Stood on the same spot in the 1st week of August watching a similar picture unfold before me - never been so wet in my life as I was by the time I got back to the car!! (Didn't get any pictures though unfortunately).

Great shot, just shows that once you know the rules of composition you can progress to break them when the situation arises. The horizon in the middle works so well in this shot due to interest in the sky and sea.
