opps, someone did ney protect the abseil.

Like the other chap said, somebody didn't read the bit in the guidebook about the first person down putting gear in for the second on the abseil.
Simon4 - 25/Mar/09yes but as i recall it didn't make much difference....you just need to keep the swing up and you'll land in the right spot. although some preplaced gear might save your rope from a soaking.
