We didn't read the guidebook description properly for this one when sorting the rack, missing the comment on pitons being crucial for the second half of the roof and so leaving them back at the campsite hoping to just use clean aid. Now this kind of oversight would be understandable for me being a bumbling Brit, but my mate Matt who was on the route with me is Swiss and thus vastly underachieving on the Swiss efficieny side of things :) So this was as far as we could get - to where the roof crack blanked out into a hairline crack/seam - all good fun though and a great place to be in such atmospheric conditions!
