20 image pan using PTGui stitcher
A Crook - 19/Nov/06
Good (Ive given it 4) but too much distortion for me - kinda loses the feel of the slabs.
If its a 20 image stitch - are they in one long line, or tiled?
David Hooper - 20/Nov/06
The photos are in 3 sperate lines with some taken to fill in the gaps. The distortion is due to it being a full 180 degrees horizontal by 120 degrees vertical. And as UKC does not support philosphere veiwing it is a necessary evil. I had a choice to; distort the slabs, distort the horizon ( a big inverse U or warp the horizon (thus loosing the height of the mountain opposite. I pluped for the first one as you can see as it looked the best. but take your piont.

Super image, I really like the way the distortion of the slabs draws your eye down into the photo and then across to the mountain opposite. Well done.

I love the FOV you should get a fisheye lens. I've given it 5.
