I already have a pic like this in my gallery, but this one is a lot sharper, so now I have two :)

I'm in this picture! I think I led Seams the Same at the same time as you did Seamstress. I think I know the guys who helped you on Bella Lugosi too - I did it (second slate lead) and spent yonks below the last bit!

Cool! ClimbingPixie led Seamstress, I seconded it (have led it before though, it was my first VS). I don't really lead hard enough for Bella Lugosi, but REALLY wanted to try it, so did. I don't regret failing on it, as it was a great experience, I really pushed myself and was pleased to get as far as I did.

Actually if you were the guys who were on Seamstress before us, was it you we saw in Australia later?

We didn't do Seamstress until afterwards - I think I was belaying my second up Seams the Same at the same time as you were climbing Seamstress. Good effort on Bella Lugosi though, I must admit I was pretty nervous at probably the same place. It was the third climb I've ever done above VS. My placements were rubbish, and the crux was very daunting - a completely different prospect from Seams the Same! I think I'm a convert to slate now - amazing experience!

Ah, so you're in the edge of the pic, not on the route :) I've loved slate since I first wandered route the quarries - it's such an amazing place - and luckily the routes appeal to my style: you need reach and flexibility, but don't have to smear!
