Sittin’ right here by the side of the road,
Got no destination no where to go
Don’t need no roots to tie me down
Everywhere I go is my home town
Let me tell you lil’ bout my philosophy
How to live with simplicity
Rid yourself of anger and greed
Shed those things you don’t really need.
Don’t need a house, no lawns to mow
Don’t need a fancy car, no payments to owe
Don’t let them tell you how it’s supposed to be
Live for the moment and be.
Love is the fuel that will take you far
Be kind to one another for trust is the car
Every living thing is on that bumpy road
Let’s not run them over wherever we go.
Tonight it’s the desert in my front yard,
Tomorrow it’s the ocean from the back of my car.
My neighbor is the guy with the broken down truck
Hop on in’ we’ll fix your tire and your luck
