Superb, I love this.

Brilliant, shame these 'people' photos can't be voted on.

Thanks :) I'm pretty sure that I submitted it as Sport Climbing (that's what we were doing shortly after the photo was taken!) so it could be voted on, but i think a moderator changed it after submission. I'll try and change it again :)
tallphil - 19/May/08
awesome. hopefully the mods will leave this open for votes.
Jon_Warner - 19/May/08
absolutely awesome. this is as much to do with climbing as the landscape photos! keep it open!
KABOOM1 - 20/May/08
Is it 'shopped? Purely interested. I love it.
withey - 20/May/08
Not exactly, I edited it in Adobe Lightroom though... If you're interested how, here's the history of the changes:
Hanne Split-Tone Preset, COL Dragan 4 Preset, Clarity:+63, Crop, Fill Light:+100, Split-tone changes (Shadow Hue:223, Highlight Hue:73)
I downloaded the two presets off inside-lightroom.com
To be honest, looking at it now the changes aren't hugely dramatic - just changes the colours a little and makes it a bit more contrasty...

ps. Haven't mentioned it anywhere - the main way I got the effect was by using a remote flash unit, so the flash light is coming from behind Becky's Hands, just off to the left of the shot..
tallphil - 20/May/08
That's awesome! Makes me feel like I'm about to start a route...
Adam Booth - 25/May/08
Umm, at risk of sounding rude, is Becky male or female?
Chris F - 26/May/08
I'm a female thank you! x
Becky8586 - 26/May/08
it's the high contrast, it doesn't do her feminine hands justice... *cough*
tallphil - 26/May/08
I meant no offense Becky, as tall phil says, it's the high contrast (honest!).
Chris F - 27/May/08
Beautiful!
