Quality. The lack of decent cragging around glasgow is proved once again!

Just a normal rack...wires,friends and two pegs where there was nothing else to be had. It`s a wee bit sustained..!!

You should link these photo's to the "Blantyre Towers" page on this site. Even with the bolts that have since been added this still feels a pretty tough route. I'd have thought at E2-5b it was a bit of a sandbag!

Photo added. There are another set of pillars in a field just north of Stonehouse at roughly NS755480.Haven`t been back for 20 years though.Similar standard, maybe slightly easier, than Blantyre. No midges either.!
The railway bridge at Larkhall,NS753503 has a few chipped routes underneath on the eastern pier. The pillars in the middle of the river are the biggest in Scotland :)

Yeah, had a look at Stonehouse last year. Looked a bit harder to get a rope over top, thought it might be fun to aid up it but it's not as handy for me as Blantyre. Funnily enough myself and Gavin stopped for a look at the Larkhall bridge just the other day - its VERY tall. Gavin recalled the Clubs efforts there. I think because it's in full view of the village and some bad accidents with youths "playing" on the bridge you might get chased by the cops these days.
