Approx 40 minutes from El Chorro

Alegria is a traditional Spanish country house situated at the upper gateway to the white village of Casarabonela. It is built with a commanding view of the valley with planted groves lemon and orange trees below. To the right is a small road, featuring one of the many fountains and springs for which the village is well known, leading along to the village square winding down through small streets.

It is built on three levels inc basement: the ground floor comprises a snug lounge and living kitchen with small bathroom and utility room to the left. The upper floor has two good bedrooms, the main one is a lounge with double bed settee and patio doors access a sunny terrace with unrivalled and breathtaking views of the valley, slopes with olive groves and almond blossom in early spring.

Bus service to Malaga Bus Station from Malaga Airport costs approx 3 euros ppn. Further onwards Service to village Sierra Nieves bus at 1pm and 5pm for village of Casarabonela. Check times as may vary.

Trains from airport to town of Pizarra and then would need taxi service below.

By car Casarabonela is about 30-40 mintues drive following the A357 Cartama Campillos road which follows the Guadalorce valley to the NW of Malaga. Take the bridge over the river Guadalorce. Shortly after sign saying Arroyo de Casarabonela.From junction see sign to Pizarra right DONT go there!!- you take the next turn to the left signed to Casarbonela and follow the beautiful new road up to the village. Magnificent scenery!
