Turned up this evening (mon) only to be turned away.Evidently there has been a bit of friction of late (but not on the wall Ha HA) between some climbers and inevitable exercise class users (boxercise !!)to the effect that no climbing is allowed on class nights.Better ring centre to confirm availablity.

the staff here know very little of nothing about climbing, and equiptment, so don't ask. The holds are often loose or slippy, greasy, polished and chalky. the wall has only one route that is vertical the rest overhangs and these range in difficulty.

Oh my god! this is a scary wall holds move, staff have not got a clue, and there is a hall bang on next to it that has held everything from badminton to circuit training. this is a wall to avoid the rain but not anything special. shocker2day
