Overview

Situated in the heart of the Snowdonia National Park, the Activity Base offers basic chalet accommodation in a wonderful location. Located in the village of Deiniolen, near Llanberis, the property is a two hour drive away from Liverpool via the A55 dual carriageway.

The Activity Base is a 10 minute walk or two minute drive away from the local shop and is on a local bus route which runs fairly frequently from Bangor train station on into the next town of Dinorwig.

The Activity Base sleeps a maximum of 18 people in bunkbeds in two dormitories which have adjoining washroom and shower facilities. Users need to take their own pillows and bed linen or sleeping bags.

This basic accommodation is fully equipped for self catering with a large dining area and fully equipped kitchen including crockery, cutlery, utensils, kettle, toaster, cooker, microwave and refrigerator.

The Activity Base has background heating, with added frost protection, and a drying room is also available. There is ample parking space for four cars or two minibuses.

You will wake up to breathtaking views of the Snowdonia Peaks in all their natural glory as the chalet is surrounded by stunning countryside for you to explore.

There are also plenty of attractions in the area to sitors of all ages happy. Visit Penryhn Castle, Llanberis Lake Railway, the Welsh Slate Museum, Sygun Copper Mine or Snowdon’s Mountain Railway, to name but a few.
