Located in Milton Keynes near the M1, Big Rock is a modern indoor climbing centre with climbing and training facilities for all levels of difficulty and all ages including:
Huge bouldering arena with multi-angled climbing from tenuous slabs to upside down journeys and featuring colour coded circuits with 6 different grade bands and over 100 problems.
Multi-faceted lead climbing walls up to 11m high, gently overhanging and vertical walls for more technical roped climbing, plenty of top rope routes including 2 route lines with Trublue auto belay units, textured ‘granite’ wall with crack systems and 70+ routes with grades from F3+ to F7+.
Dedicated training areas for the committed climber with full sized campus boards, 5.6m wide 45 degree wooden circuit board, fingerboards and more.
And something that’s entirely off-the-wall… CrazyClimb featuring a series of climbing challenges! Tackle a wall covered with large purple blobs, race the clock on the speed climb, climb a wall covered in rotating steering wheels… and more. We reckon that CrazyClimb is the most fun you can have on a climbing wall!
Instructional courses with experienced and qualified instructors are available for anyone wishing to start out, or for experienced climbers looking to develop their climbing further.
In addition to the awesome climbing facilities, Big Rock also has an excellent café serving hot and cold snacks and meals, an equipment shop and conference facilities. Plenty of free car parking is available in the centre car park.
