The best selected climbs book yet published, although some failed to appreciate the grouping of crags (a formal index is on p412ff). Great intros, good selection of routes and coffee table quality photographs to make you reach for the car keys. A radical departure in style at the time, (particularly for the BMC!) now in need of a update. Come on Carl! Reprinted in 2003.
