The steep wall to the left of Skiløperen was originally a hard aid route Alpinisten. Now it gives an even harder free climb although on a slightly different line. Start 10m left of Skiløperen. Follow the cracks rightwards by sustained climbing to the eventual sanctuary of a narrow ledge. Trend back left above the overlap to reach the base of a wider crack and finish up this. Alpinisten goes direct from the narrow ledge by tricky aid climbing. The lower section can be done on nuts at A1+, the upper wall remains much harder A3. © ROCKFAX
