Good fun. The gear i got in before the traverse wasn't quite as good or as far to the right as I'd jave liked, but the travers turned out to be okay (exciting). You can get 'bomber' gear on the nose. Unfortunately, after that its very easy all the way to the top.

Feet slipped off just over half way on traverse. Fortunately hands held. Everyone thought i was off, including people on Inverted V who just saw two legs appear beneath the nose. Cold day.

Cams are good to have on this climb, and we did not have enough. Ed ran out the entire traverse on one cam at the beginning. If you go up right before the nose, you get a few 5a moves which are funner than the juggy arette, but would probably have stuck to the easier option on lead.

Great route! Leaders with nervous seconds may want to pull one rope once the belay is reached and drop down again for your partner - that way the second will have a rope from abaove for the whole traverse (Similar tactics for Valc @ Roaches)

An easy and well protected climb up the crack but it's all about the traverse! Pumpy hand jams and very little for feet till you get to the nose. I placed some gear at the start then went for it in one hit without putting any runners for the remainder of the traverse which is pretty exposed. Things got easier after this although gear is sparse till higher up. With this method if you fall at the nose you'll hit the deck! Cams are useful on this climb.

One of my favourite routes of all time! It's intimidating stepping out right when there is clearly a lack in footholds, but you soon come to realise there are hundreds of completely sinker jams! Climbing in just shorts it felt amazing! Stopped to place a cam nearing the end on a bomber jam, then move out right, whip foot around right onto corner and move around. Climb the easy arete, then I decided to take a harder alternative finish just to the right, probably 4c if not 5a, up a thin crack with a couple of kind of finger jams. Loved it, beautiful day beautiful route, will be remembered!

Have procrastinated around this route on a previous occasion but 'felt right' yesterday so went for it. Bit of gear in the starting crack, Friend 2.5 in the LH end of the break and then just jam along it keeping feet high in the little crease. Beautiful and didn't feel the need for any other gear until I was on the arete. You could probably do it without jamming but why would you? A good jam is the best hold there is! The arete is fun, well protected and the finishing move spectacular on huge holds (look down from there - it's a straight drop!).
