Hard unprotected moves at the start. Took a fall before I had gear in. Both me and belayer ended up lying on backs on a load of rocks. Good spotting by belayer stopped the fall from being much worse.

Fell several times from crux on lead and gave up in the end. Seconded ok, but hard 5c move with no gear and bad landing - E2?

Crux is hard 5c and well off the ground over a bad landing, so surely E2? Technically a bit easier than Desperation but much less safe. Didn't dare go past the crimp/flake to the break so put a runner in the VS and effectively toproped the crux.
