Tithe Technique - 2nd O/S - 31/Oct/10 with Angela Paul, Charley Fell

Brillant route, deserves some stars. Felt bold at the top. Was there for ages, spent too long sorting the gear and messing about trying knee bars and got too pumped. Down-climbed, had a rest while Kev tried it then did it again with the gear still in place and found it much easier thanks to being able to make use of the crimp. Still found it quite committing though.
charley - Lead O/S - 31/Oct/10 with Ange, Kev

lead this on a whim ,as it was next to route partner lead, what a great little route, real pity it was nt longer, took a few minutes to make the move from the good hold (until it snaps off)in the break, onto the small crimp and finally find the last hold. loved it, bold , exposed, quite technical ,exciting with good gear if you look long enough. if it was on burbage would be 3* and polished as hell .viva wharncliffe!

F***ING harrowing. Soloed this, and wished I hadn't. Get in the break underneath the last section and spent what felt like 30 minutes jibbering and wishing for someone to lob a rope down to rescue me. Eventually did the last moves on slopers to get the hell out of there. Jimmy Puttrell scared the sh*t out of me
