Take an inflatable boat into the lake and drop the leader off at the bottom of the climb, which runs right of centre of the largest unbroken wall in the quarry. The wall has the distinctive feature of being dark on the right and light and more broken on the left.
Either anchor your boat in the lake well away from any rock-fall, or anchor your boat to the wall 10m to the left near the abandoned stick of Dynamite in the wall (Don't light up a cigarette when belaying!!!).
The climb goes up the centre/right of the darker rock with some good placements and some loose stuff. It is recommended the climber carrier all his/her rack on a bandolier so they can ditch it and swim away if they end up in the water.
The only good belay at the top is a gauze bush about 15m back.
