Rockfax Description
The wide left-hand crack (a decent but stiff HVS 5a pitch) leads to the cave. A very hard move through the notch in the overhang (good gear but awkward to place) may allow you to access the easier upper wall. © Rockfax

I could not reach the crucial hold of the roof (as I'm very short), so gave up and escaped to Piccadilly Circus. The initial crack up to the cave was pretty good.

P1 and ab'd off. Last fingerlock uncurled as I pulled on it. Done straight after. Bollocks! Hands nicely mashed at work on Monday.

Next time remember to move the rope out of your way on while reaching for the shelf

Brian Rodgers 12/Oct/08 Lead rpt

The jamming was painful, the cave was sandy, the undercut was damp, but still a nice route.
