On the pinnacle of Nicodemus Knob about 1km north of The Cuttings. The right hand (southerly) route. A good reach helps.

2nd time round, no falls or rests, top rope solo with ATC in guide mode.

Skorchio - Lead dog - 14/Jun/14

ConstaBern - Lead O/S - 13/Jun/14

Had my ATC in Guide Mode on top anchors (Tied into my harness and as I climbed up kept pulling the slack through, There was no way down other than to continue going up). Didn't stick to the route exactly, strayed to the right after the first bit then over to the left then back on route again. Had a rest about half way too, but no falls.

Tough, overhang section felt like easy 6a then the technical middle felt harder. Lots of tiny crimps. Really enjoyable. Scrambled up side to set up top-rope so we could have a go.

Easiest of the four, although still no pushover with some technical care needed. Beware loose rock higher up as with all these here.

Last route of the trip heading back to weymouth. Nice with a techincal mid height sequence. But too hot and tired to properly enjoy it

Cheesy rock!
bsparky - Lead dog - 31/Mar/13 with Ralph Ranford

A lot more technical than it looks. All the routes on the "knob" are good but seriously need more traffic as they are quite dirty/dusty and there is a lot of loose rock in the band of "cheese" that runs across at 2/3 height.

Climbed in sunny, buy -1C conditions on New Year's Day. Thought it was the 6b and it certainly felt it! Just like Steve, numb fingers made it harder, but I'd say this was more like 6a+.

Desperate in the cold weather (2 degrees) Might feel 6a in the dry/warm - more like 6a+/6b today.
