Climb the left-hand crack (loose blocks) to ledges then traverse right to pass the arete to a comfortable stance (4c). Finish up the tough crack to a superb juggy exit. A better combination is to start up the lower cracks of The Beer Hunter and continue up the second pitch as above, dubbed Two Beers. © Rockfax

2nd pitch. Probably best approached from the right if poss, 1st pitch is crap
The spacewalk right is nice, top crack hard but fun , bottom crack is shite
Led 2nd Pitch. Rest on geear. Hard as nails!

Failed to lead it so was over to Tim. An off width then a flaring crack. VS?! No.
|Graeme Hammond||17/Mar/12||2nd rpt||
just the 2nd good pitch as the other one is crap.

Struggled with lowr section, pulled into right hand off width and decided I did not like the look of it- scuttled right on the lower break to a ledge and belayed. RT led the top section in good style. IMO, better to forget about the first section & just do the second half of the route.
Led the first pitch with the worthwhile 5a start. Had a right faff with the off-width (good job I was wearing Rach's lycra or I might never had made it). Decided we'd had enough after the first pitch knowing Chequers Buttress was just around the corner.
