Ulysses E3 6a 5b
55m, 2 pitches. Two quite different pitches, now better described as two routes. Pitch 1 gives the E3 6a guide book grade, a succession of hard sequences, sparsely protected primarily by old-ish pegs, with occasional supplementary micro-wires and a sneaky No. 5 walnut higher up. 2** climbing with no star protection! Pitch 2 is very worthwhile, in particular as a finish to Osram. A bit bold in the central part; crossed an area of interesting, rippled, high friction rock. Both pitches cleaned up in Autumn 2014.
