Ulysses P1 E3 6a
24m. The first pitch of a 1969 two pitch excursion, now more appropriately described as two separate climbs. This first pitch was given a harder, direct start in 1989. It comprises a succession of hard sequences, sparsely protected primarily by old-ish pegs, with occasional supplementary micro-wires and a sneaky No. 5 walnut higher up. Great (2**) climbing, but with sketchy protection... Well worth a headpoint if you don't fancy the on-sight.
