The initial crack is no walkover and calls for a decisive approach. The crux is also pretty stiff, particularly as the rest is not that great. Would be worth two stars if it wasn't so close to the side wall. Su did well to get as far as standing up on the first good hold in the crack but struggled to finger torque with her injured finger. On the abseil recovered a jammed nut from just below the crux - took quite a bit of hammering with a large hex to get it out.

Fell a couple of times at the roof/bulge, but worked it out in the end. Rockfax says the route is 'rather unsatisfying'! I thought it was a cracker. Also, wasted time and effort trying to find the alleged 'knee-bar rest' without success.

Fell from last move, leg caught around rope & flipped upside down under overhang. Hit wall with head and knocked myself out for a few secs. Lucky I had a helmet on. Soloed Kayak after to make sure I hadn't lost bottle.
