20m. Launch out left and hand traverse out to the arete and a rest. Climb the steep slab (as for the long reach method of Escape/Boot Hill) to the roof then exit rightwards as for Fern Hill. The short will probably find the start desperate and the slab on the front impossible. © ROCKFAX

Did the start then got boxed placing gear and fell off just short of the arete. Pulled the ropes, got out to the arete ground up, then couldnt reach to do the move up the front :( Rubbish! Good route though.
