Clean on-sight, but only just. Quite a struggle at the grade with little good gear near the top. 4c gets my vote. No polish though, which was nice.

Very polished. Climbed it about 15 years ago and rememember it being pretty stiff for VS then.

Nice day, frequent sunny spells.

Lead after the two girls tried and stopped at the crux, they thought it was the severe, as did I. Thought it seemed a bit tough at severe!

Ropeboy - Lead - 22/Jun/10 with Bunny

Okay, but quite in your face and thuggy.
Oliver Branagan - Lead O/S - 31/Oct/09 with Mikey B, Miles M

I led half this route in the mistaken belief that it was Morning Crack S 4a! Ho ho. Pretty sustained and thuggy especially the wider top section and I had to the rest on the rope, struggling to get a hex out . Several loose holds on the horrible short lower wall section...

Climbed under the impression that it was Morning Crack (the topo is wrong). No wonder it felt hard and bold for Severe!

Dirty, full of cobwebs, and very little gear other than dubious cams :( Made it to the half-way bulge, before reversing the moves back to the ground.
