I must have been doing something wrong. An easy start up the ramp ended in ignominy. I couldn't start up the green, foothold-less crack to the right of the corner, as per the guide book, so I decided to escape up the corner itself (the top of Central Crack). Fell off this three times before admitting defeat, lowering off and walking round to abseil for my gear :-/

Si took the direct line straight up and missed out on the easy slabs. Things got interesting for me in the grove. Right hand jam, somehow get up higher and then chock provides useful hold.
