[Climbing the North-East Ridge of Pik Profsoyuzov, 2 kb]1500m. Rated a Russian 2A. Climb the Akhsu Left Glacier to the West of the peak. Climb the western slopes of the peak (45 degrees), cross under the icefalls (slight exposure) to gain the North-Easterly Ridge to the summit.
