20m. 'Echo'. Superb steady climbing with one harder move up to the top. One of the best routes of its grade in the country. Slightly harder due to hold breakage, now climbs further right on the high crux.

Probably not best plan to leave this route until last but wet streak was stubborn to dry. Got to 9th bolt on the flash but the crux move was much harder than anticipated. Done a lot of easier 7b's. Fantastic route and one to come back for.

Tried to save our trad day going sport climbing... wet in the jugs. Had a half hearted attempt then sacked it. It started drizzling in earnest as soon as I was on the deck anyways.

Led once putting draws in then again with one fall in mid section (some drenched holds today). I think if I'd taken more time to figure out the sequence I'd have got it despite the wet. A surprisingly intimidating route, very good.

Started working this then the midgies came and Pat pulled a hold off

i think you could call that a retroflash. put the draws in and everything.

Good climbing, worth a re-match.

7b in my book. Awesome route. 3 years since I first got on it. Went fairly steadily today except getting a bit nervy on the top crack. needed to have a word with myself to calm down and then finished it off

Lives up to the hype, a brilliant route. 7a+/b in the new SMC guide seems fair. Went 2nd RP after a previous session to work out the moves. Thanks to locals Ian and Tess for the friendly company and pointing out the useful knee bar rest!

A very pumpy warm up...especially when your belayer is keeping you extremely tight....

great route and a bit pokey at the grade with no chalk.

Sustained and tricky to work out the right crux sequence. Destroyed by the time I got to the top.

Linked first 5 bolts, placing quickdraws, then it took 3 or 4 rests to get to the top. Had no time to RP as it was getting dark. Super route though, will be back!
