First Ascent, with one long fall. The arete just left of Old Crack is climbed on its left hand side, which at first does seem eliminate but once established escape is impossible. Gear is placed as for Old Crack, from the mid-height ledge but climbing up to place high side runners and then downclimbing to the ledge isn't allowed (unless you're happy to take the grade as E2/3/4). Oh, and be careful with the edges of the flakes at the start of the arete, they're a bit flexible and might break off if they're pulled on hard outwards.
