18m. General consensus that this route is a grade harder than the guidebook suggests, so E6 6a***, take care folks!

Abseiled and cleaned the leaves off. Covered in chalk so went fir it. Did hang a sling down as well just in case, but was all good. Solid 6a climbing with top being the mental crux. Agree with Dave's comments about the gear and think that E6 6a might be a better reflection off the boldness of the route.

Flipping class and dry after last nights rain. Ace moves. Move right from the obvious ledge just below the top to a good hold and foot edge to top out (i left a sling in place but its ok). Gear is worth placing at half height (clean the slot) but i am not sure if it will keep you off deck from very top? E6 6a? Only downside i guess is that even after a recent ascent it took me 15minutes to clean it to a state I was happy to solo it! http://davidwarburton-climbing.blogspot.com/2011/10/ginny-greenteeth-hawkcliffe.html

A bit out there for E5.

Top-roped clean and should have led it - but was talked out of it!
