Follows the North Ridge from the Lagginjoch to the summit.,

Long, do NOT leave the ridge crest. It is often technically harder but anywhere below the ridge is absolute schist!

Marks first alpine route. Moved together. Quality exposed winding ridge in great conditions but opted to bail (at the white square, possible if your not afraid of down climbing loose scree 1:30hr back to glacier)so not to deter him from future adventures with a walk back to the valley.

Fantastic route, long and sustained. Great exposure on the final snow arete!

1st bubble up from Sass Grund - bit slow as pretty still snowed-up - crampons on for the whole ridge so had some fun on the short pitches. 6 hrs from Lagginjoch to summit - had to run last 15mins to ge the very last Hohsass bubble down (which we made!)

Good route. Long day out especially in descent down the Voie Normale with a sore knee.
