Ancient Mariner* HS 4b
30m. Start at the right hand side of the buttress. Move up the slabby wall until it's possible to place a good nut in the corner on the left. Step down and climb the right edge to reach a grassy ledge in the corner. Thread. Climb the corner and continue in the same line on good clean rock and excellent protection. Despite the adverse comments below this this is a worthwhile route if you follow the correct line.

OK. Spoilt a bit by the heather at half height that you have to climb around, but top section is fun.

'Adventurous' climbing - read overgrown and very painful clambering and climbing through heather bushes, loose blocks, moss, and moves that are harder and less well protected than you would expect for a route graded HS 4b - it's definitely more like VS 4c.
