Rockfax Description
The bow-shaped overhanging arete perched high on the face provides a fine but scary encounter. Start at the slabby looking corner as for May Day Direct.
1) 5b, 27m. Head up the thin slab, then move right along a small ledge to a dirty corner (as for May Day Direct). Go right and up a groove to a flake and thread. Move right to the arete and then up and right again to belay on a ledge - this is a poor belay and it may be safer to continue.
2) 5c, 22m. Move left to the arete and follow it (initially on its left) all the way to a grassy ledge and belay.
3) 5a, 18m. Climb the arete left of the corner to the top. © Rockfax
