|10m. 11m. A divine feature: the dark north-west arete of the Pulpit offers superb climbing. A miniature classic. Ideally needs a stiff breeze to gain the right conditions for an ascent. A tricky traverse rightwards from the regular zawn crossing gains the low (the lowest) start ledge, or traverse the entire Pulpit clockwise to reach the same place. Pull through a steep start (start ledge initially slightly below you), moving leftwards on jugs to a tricky but safe rock-over and a rest. Move back right, then climb the cracked left side of the sharp arete to the top. © ROCKFAX|
