4a-4c and broken but pleasant until the 6a 7th pitch. After that it really comes good. good adventure. ascent 737.

Stunning climb. DC climbed even pitches (inc 6a's). Walk in and descent is major day out on top of the actual climb. More like two hours to get down.

I lead pitches 1,3,5,7,9&11, Ben lead pitches 2,4,6,8&10. I lead both 6a's pitches cleanly. Amazing climbing, easier lower down but more difficult as you got up higher. The first 6a (pitch 7) has a funky arete style overhang rock to negotiate, not many holds and a little tricky. The second 6a is 200meteres off the ground with an exposed feeling and involves 2 tricky moves - one to move around and onto a big tufa block and the other to get up and past it. Great traverse climbing follows. An epic and memorable multi-pitch, a full day affair and a long and slow walk off at the end - it's only 1 1/2 hours but feels like a lot longer!!!

led P1,3 etc, quality improves as you get higher, great route.
accent number 710 in the book. walk off was a slog (2 hours)

Excellent mountain route. Really made the holiday. Alt leads, I started and got the first 6a pitch (P7) and we swapped around so Jayne got the other (P9). Good choices which suited both our climbing styles down to the ground.

Led the whole route, in my trainers, in the dark! (cheers lads). The best way to do it: mega sunset and an awesome starry night! Perfect temps. 3 hours.

A delightful multi pitch. Lead the odd pitches. The first few pitches have been overgraded but the 2 6a pitches (7 and 9) were 6as!!!! Had the whole mountain to ourselves and finished it in 2 hours!!

Epic adventure. We had the route to ourselves all day, the bottom is a little scrambly but the top is excellent! First multipitch. Found the descent harder!

Climbed in 7 pitches in 2.5 hours, ascent No 595 according to the log book at the top. The first 6 pitches are short so we did them as 3. Then the next 3 as in the route description and ran the top 2 together. Loads of bolts so I clipped approx alternate ones or would have needed 30 quick draws!

I led the 4th pitch. Struggled on the 6a sections, fell off the layback crack and french-freed and aided the traverse pitch - just get up it is my motto on a route like that! Superb, but a bit unbalanced, mostly grade 5 with a few hard moves. Started climbing at 9 and finished at 2:10.

got lost on the walk in as we followed the guide description of start going up when you see a big cave, spent 4 hours walking through choss, scree and bushes, just decided to slack it off when we saw people high on the crag above us (and about 1km away) walked over and got the route done in just over an hour (roped together) nice climb all the same but a bit full on for a rest day

We were started climbing about 08.30 and were first on the route but closely followed by 2 teams from the Lakes. The first crux, was damp and tricky, when I came to lead it (especially with a rucksack) but dried quickly. The heavens opened as Si led the second crux. This is well bolted but even so was very tricky to lead & follow in torrential rain! An excellent route but the first 6 pitches are pretty easy. We were on top by 11.30

Very good but not as good as the hype. Only 2-3 pitches of any real quality. It also rained on us, and I had the 6a tufa pitch in the wet

In 10 pitches - I led the odd ones, Carmen the even ones including both 6a pitches. The first 6a pitch was done French Free, the rest was clean. The 5b pitch after the traverse was out of this world!
Had the route to ourselves, the summit logbook showed we were the first to climb it for a week.
Warm and sunny for the climb, cloud started building as we approached the summit, the heavens opened just as we reached the coast path after the descent!

Brilliant day out. Arrived by speedboat over a very lively sea: those sitting in the back completely soaked. Opted to thrutch up crux chimney, which proved to be great fun and featured a buttock jam at one point. Great exposure on final traverse and headwall. Led Ps 1,3,5,7,9,11.

Excellent route: crux is a strenuous 6a layback; otherwise very pleasant climbing in amazing situations.
A rather slow party who'd raced to get on the route first marred the experience somewhat: couldn't they see they were causing a log-jam of teams below them?
Apart from waiting for them to finish faffing about, it meant the rest of us had to deal with a stroppy German couple preparing to climb over us on the crux.
Peter Metcalfe - AltLd - 21/Oct/09 with Chris Michalak
Brilliant route. Took us 3hr, 5 mins, helped by the fact that we were first on the route. Ascent number 166
Led odd numbered pitchs, including crux
Chris the Tall - AltLd O/S - 21/Oct/09 with Daz
Great route, but sadly a party of THREE (from the UK, I'm ashamed to say) decided to rush to start ahead of us and then took pretty much forever to climb it - they were struggling on pitches we could fly up. The waiting became hours & a German couple tried to "push in" leading to a threat of intervention (ie. tying them off).
This should have been a great day out but instead we remember it for the wrong reasons.
Oh, I aided the crux move on the 6a pitch - so what?
