550m. An ideal introduction to Cuillin scrambling. Any difficulties can be avoided. Zigzag up the slabs above the Bhasteir gorge. where the corrie path traverses continue most easily on the left of the crest. at half height the direction changes and difficulties are turned on the right side.

descent from Bruach na Frithe, nice easy down climbing. left the ridge early into a chute and skimmed my way back into Fionn Choire and to the Slig.
