300m. The large North-East Face of Bidean nam Bian, facing the Lost Valley, may be climbed by a variety of rambling lines. It has a real Alpine ambience and is a highly worthwhile objective, whichever way you take. The face varies between Grade I or potentially Grade III depending on route choice. Most of the logical lines, which include several shallow gullies, are probably Grade II.

A superb day with perfect nevé everywhere, in bright warm sunshine and clear skies. I climbed a nice grade II gully in the centre of the face, quite narrow in places. Unrecorded so far, a "new" route? JamesRoddie - Solo O/S - 27/Jan/11

A big-mountain atmosphere, with route finding difficulties. A proper mountaineering route. Recommended! Only a hill - Solo O/S - 13/Dec/09
